Preventative Healthcare Solutions (PHS) is a FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner facility that focuses on providing cost effective pre employment services. With todays challenging business model, PHS understands the bottom line. Pre employment and CDL physicals need not to be expensive, they just need to be done correctly and quickly.

 

Same day physicals and drug testing is available on a walk in basis. To keep our fee’s low we accept payment at the time of service in either cash or major credit card. No contract is required and there are no hidden fees. We provide physicals for Yale University Graduate Schools, Bridgeport Police Academy. Drivers leave with all paper work and medical cards.

 

We also provide physicals for:

• Bridgeport Police & Fire Academy

 

For pre employment requirements we also provide:

• Lift Task Assessments

• Sit & Reach Testing

• Grip Strength Analysis

 

PHS also provides DOT and Non DOT drug testing.

DOT drug testing is part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) requirement for interstate drivers

NON DOT drug testing is for all others such as:

• Office staff

• Children

• Spouse

• Preemployment

• Drug programs

• Court required drug programs

FMCSA DOT Physicals Bridgeport, CT

 

Drivers must pass a DOT physical examination. The physical is focused on confirming that there are no medical conditions preventing you from safely operating a vehicle. Your examination will typically include:

• Visual acuity and color discernment assessments

• Blood pressure evaluation

• Urine tests

• Hearing tests

• Physical evaluation

In some cases, more testing might be necessary to make absolutely sure you have the physical capacity to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
